The inevitable crash occurred late January 2009. What do I mead? Luckily it’s not motorcycle related (as usual). I’m speaking of somthing affecting eveyone who reads this blog. The only important (non-backed-up) computer file that I primarily maintained on my laptop was AMSA’s Blog. This was previously constructed in a not so optimum blog software named RapidWeaver that I began way back in December 2005. This happened a year and half ago also, but I managed to rebuild it from an older backup. I’ve known every since in the back of my mind that I needed a better blogging software, and well now I’m forced to. Well that’s not absolutely true, I chose not to rebuild it again from a older backup. Instead I’m forging on and blazing new trail. Like buying a new bike, opefully I’ll lik eit better and it’ll be great bew ride.
Welcome AMSA 411 Blog in WordPress.
February 8, 2009 I’ve plunged into one of the most popular blogging software packages; WordPress. This should allow better control and management of my blog and I’m sure a few new features. I’m planning to get a submission form built also so viewers can submit ideas as well . The first course of action, well besides installations/setup, and design is to rebuild my older blog postings. This I really, really don’t want to do. I’m hoping to hire one of my kids for this data enty process. I’m waiting for the best time pop this learning optunity to one. Anyone knowing children may know I may have better luck learning spanish and hiring a laborer at Home Depot. All this will certainly take some time so I’m not letting the cat out of the bag just yet. The older blog is still functining, I simply will no longer update it as I typically do monthly. Again, I’m forging new trail with this WordPress blog (if you’re reading this, this is the newer WordPress blog). If you can’t tell the difference then I’ve done my job well and in time will be adding new content, features, and more unimaginable. Hold on and keep your feet onte pegs, here we go… AMSA’s new 411 Blog!
